As we shared with you in our previous post, Kim and Kirstyn begin to study trend and color forecasts early in the design process. These predictions often change dramatically as the season draws closer. The process of deciding on the season’s colors involves combining the trends with reviewing how easy a color is to wear, and reviewing the selections to make sure that each DCC (Dominant Color Characteristic) has plenty of colors to choose from. This all sounds very scientific, but at the end of it all, there is still an element of group breath-holding!
We were so excited to get the final Pantone published color report and see that we represented almost every single color in our own way!
In addition to the 12 solid colors shown in our chart, we have incorporated Lilac and Clay in our burnouts and Coral in our lightweight Tencel fabric.
Which color is your favorite for Spring?

Aqua & azure the colors of the sea
I am passionate about color. The colors that kikaPaprika has chosen this season are amazing!
Azure and Aqua are my all time favorites this season.

Too hard to decide….but I am particularly obsessed with citrus and poppy as pop colors and LOVE Navy as a neutral. The coral is fab in the burnout too!
