We were so excited to work with the amazing Nicole Caldwell again this season on the photoshoot for our Spring/Summer 2012 line. Nicole shot at both Sunset Cove Villas and Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach, CA and we are thrilled at these wonderful photographs showing the vivid colors and styles of our new line against the beautiful backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.
Here is a behind the scenes photo from the shoot showing our wonderful models, Kim and Kirstyn and everyone who assisted including the talented Cheyne Jackson who really helped us take everything to the next level! We can’t wait to share more of the photos with you as we unveil our new line.

The kikaPaprika Spring/Summer 2012 line features four stylish dresses which every girl should own. These will be your BFF’s this summer and you will need them in a neutral, to dress up with your favorite accessories, as well as in our fabulous grecian inspired pop colors of the season.
The Belle, with it’s surplice neckline and knee length wrap style skirt, is perfect for all figures. Creating and emphasizing a gorgeous silhouette with it’s ruched waistband positioned at a universally flattering height. The design detail in this piece is amazing, the neckline sits at the perfect spot and the skirt has a fluttery ruffle layer to create movement and life, but has a full closed skirt underneath to make this style so easy to wear. The Tencel fabric is light and flowing but also has just the right amount of stretch to ensure that the fit is perfection.
The hardest part will be deciding which of the twelve colors to wear each day!

A note from our designer……
“Last summer my nine best girlfriends and I vacationed throughout the Greek islands. I was swept away by the ease and sun drenched chic of the island lifestyle in Santorini. The backdrop of azure minarets, pops of orchid and poppy buildings, and bougainvillea wrapped around crisp white walls were inspiring.
One evening as I sat on the terrace sipping a glass of red from a local winery, I caught sight of an enchanting local woman winding her way through the narrow ancient roads, the breeze gently lapping at the hem of her dress. The beauty of her simplicity and the movement of her clothes became the muse for the kikaPaprika spring/summer 12 line. I hope the carefree heart of this collection inspires you as it does me.
